Gastrolaid Drops is a homoeopathic combination medicine prepared by combination of five medications such as Natrum Phos, Capsicum, Robinia, Acid Sulph, Phosphorus. It is used hyper-acidity, heart burn. The ingredients of Gastrolaid particularly effective in flatulence, Peptic Ulcer, Sour eructation etc. The important role of components of Gastrolaid are described below:
Natrum Phos: It is more suitable for Hyperacidity and also use in infants. It is useful in patients with Sour vomiting, Sour eructation, vomiting, mouth watering, abdominal pain after eating, stomach cramps etc. It is more effective in abdominal pain due to eating oily foods, excess milk and sweets. Capsicum: Pain in the stomach & in the epigastrium especially just after meal, to feel the burning sensation in the stomach. Sensation of cold in the stomach, abdominal cramping pain, sometimes with sore throat, mouth and lips.
Robinia: It is an effective medicine for stomach disorder. Heartburn and acidity of stomach at night on lying down. Regurgitation of acid and bitter substance, Nausea & attempts to vomit when placed in sitting posture. Dull, heavy, aching dullness in stomach. Very severe, sharp pains in stomach all day and night. Constant eructation of a very sour fluid.
Acid Sulph: Sour eructation, violent heartburn. Violent hiccough. Nausea in the stomach, with shivering. Vomiting, first of water, then of food. Vomiting of drunkards. Very painful & sensitiveness of stomach. Coldness of stomach relieved by applied heat Nausea with chilliness
Phosphorus: Patients feel hungry after meal. Sour taste and sour eructation after every meal. Belching large quantities of wind, after eating. Vomiting; water is thrown up as soon as it gets warm in the stomach. The food scarcely swallowed, comes up again; Pain in stomach; relieved by cold food, ices.
