(QUASSIA – PICRAENA EXCELSA) Acts on gastric organs as a tonic ( Gentian; Hydr ). Seems to possess marked action on eyes, producing amblyopia and cataract. Pain in right intercostal muscles above the liver. Pressure and stitches in liver, and sympathetically in spleen.
