Agnus castus
Contains flavonoids meanly casticin, steroid progesterone. Vitex enhancing progesterone in women so helpful in painful menstrual. Drug of choice for PMS ( Pre menstrual syndrome)
Aletris fari.
Leucorrhoea and prolapses.
Gossypium
It contain gossypuim which is a well potent anti infertility agent. Acting has a emmenagoge.
Sepia
It contains calcium carbonate and calcium phosphate. Calcium has a rule in aetiology of PMH. Sepia corrects hormonal imbalance and beneficial for conception.
Uterine disorders especially in menorrhagia leucorrhoea (highly astringent due to tannin) ketosterole contents of the plant are androgen in nature. Herb activity is due to this steroidal and calcium salt.
Ashwagandha
It contains the alkaloids somniferina and steroidal lactone withanolides which shows hepato-protective activity. Use to in Spermatorrhea.
Damiana
Aphrodisiac herb use in impotency and sexual weakness.
Dosage:
10 to 15 drops in ahalf cup of water three time a day
